IZIP Via Rapido Hybrid Electric Bicycle

The IZIP Via Rapido electric bike is a very fine-looking machine sporting the "green" eco-friendly and efficient lithium-ion (Li-Ion) battery. These electric bikes are of a type known to Europeans as "pedelecs" and unlike some electric bicycles, require the rider to pedal in order to activate the electric motor. The running options are either pedal power or pedal assisted electric power, but there is no "motor only" mode on this e-bike.

The IZIP Rapido electric bike carries a lithium-ion, rear rack mounted, 24V/10AH battery pack to power its 250 watt Earth Magnet motor. This Li-Ion technology has really changed electric bikes for the better. Far longer lasting between charges than the older sealed lead acid (SLA) batteries, e-bikes with lithium-ion batteries are also much lighter in weight.

The electric bicycle has become a serious commuters' alternative to the polluting internal combustion engine and the IZIP Via Rapido is a seriously viable means of low-impact personal transportation.
